Dual Enrollment in Arkansas: Concurrent Credit

"Arkansas law allows for the enrollment of high school students in college-level courses under certain conditions. Concurrent enrollment allows students to obtain credit toward a high school diploma at the same time they earn college credit." (Arkansas Department of Higher Education)


Eligibility Guidelines

- Enrolled in high school

- Admitted to a college/university as a non-award seeking student

- Must have scored a 19 on the ACT Reading sub-test or equivalent test

- Enrollment in English Composition or mathematics also requires a 19 or better on the sub-test or equivalent test
